Walk rules

By taking part in our Suitwalk, in whatever form, you agree to follow these rules.

Breaking the rules may result in exclusion from future walks or lead to further consequences within the scope of applicable law.

No Weapons

The answer to the question of whether weapons or similar items are allowed at the Suitwalk is always a very clear NO.

This applies to any kind of weapon or replica weapon, whether it's a firearm, sword, rocket launcher, trebuchet or whatever else you can think of, and it doesn't matter whether it's a real weapon or a cosplay prop.

If an item could be mistaken for a weapon from a distance, it stays at home and is not brought to the Suitwalk.

Political Symbols and Flags

Political symbols, especially flags, posters and similarly conspicuous items, must not be brought along. This also applies to pride flags, as these can also be seen as a political statement.

Under no circumstances may we be perceived as a demonstration by outsiders, as otherwise our permission for the Suitwalk may be revoked.

Stickers and Similar Items

Putting up stickers in and around the parking garage is strictly prohibited. We are tolerated guests there and want to keep it that way.

Apart from that, putting stickers on someone else's property counts as property damage.

No Smoking or Vaping

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in the parking garage to protect the fursuits!

People who are actively smoking, please also keep a sufficient distance from the suiters during the walk.

Music

Anyone playing music in public (and that includes the parking garage!) has to pay fees to GEMA as the organizer. Not doing so is a criminal offense. We therefore recommend that you do not play loud music (audible to bystanders) during the walk or in the parking garage.

Guests

We ask all guests who don't absolutely need to be in the parking garage, e.g. to help a suiter, to stay away from the upper levels of the parking garage so there is more room for suiters and spotters. The meeting point for guests is near the KFC – please make sure to keep the area in front of the Aldi clear!

By the way, the walk itself doesn't start before 13:00. This means guests don't need to arrive long beforehand.

Group Photos

We don't tell you how to walk around, but we'd be happy if suiters came to the walk without any visible skin. On the first fursuit group photo, absolutely no skin may be visible. We'll then take another photo on which partials are welcome too, and then a big group photo that includes humans as well ;)

Outfits and Costumes

Please keep in mind that we are out in public and that we are a fursuit walk. This means:

  • Fetish gear has no place with us
  • Costumes, uniforms and similar things that are not fursuits or part of one, please leave at home as well.
  • Anyone not wearing a fursuit may only join in normal street clothes.
  • A lycra bodysuit (or similar material) does NOT count as a fursuit either. As an undersuit it is of course perfectly fine, but e.g. just a lycra bodysuit and a fursuit head are explicitly not allowed!
  • Genitals and nipples must be covered so that they are not visible – this of course also applies to fursuiters
  • Collars are fine as long as they are worn as jewelry or are part of the fursuit. Leashes are not allowed.

General

The Karlsfurs Suitwalk organizers take no responsibility for the items you bring. The parking garage we use for changing is a publicly accessible place. Please make sure your belongings are stored securely during the walk.
